Inspired by the upcoming ZineCat convening, as well as the Republican and Democratic National Conventions happening this summer, we chose "Congresses" for this month's theme. "Congresses" is the Library of Congress (!) subject heading subdivision used to describe materials that discuss meetings.

We have zines described with the subdivision "Congresses" about zine readings, zine fests, zine conferences, riot grrrl conventions, and ladyfests.

The cover below is for a zine that wrapped up the International Zine Librarians unConference that took place on line in 2020, when we had to cancel our in-person event in Montreal. You can read or download the whole zine from the Internet Archive.
