  • Add to Calendar 2024-08-05 09:30:00 2024-08-06 16:00:00 Zine Union Catalog Planning Meeting Image Zine Librarian Jenna Freedman and her project partner Lauren Kehoe, Head of Research and Information Services at the University of Central Florida Libraries, won a National Endowment for the Humanities Chairs Award that is funding this ZineCat planning meeting. 23 zine library and archives workers and technologists from academic, community, digital, and public libraries from three countries will come together to determine how to make decisions in a way that reflects zine community ethos: feminist, anti-racist, queer, affirming of all identities and needs, and do-it-yourself. The two-day session will be facilitated by Sara Yukimoto-Saltman, who has strengths in project work that is anti-oppressive and values-aligned.
