We've Got a Zine for That: Tea

Every month we highlight a different theme that can be studied or enjoyed using our zine library. This month's WGaZfT is tea. With the NYC weather changing (along with the global climate), some of us are switching from iced to hot tea for the winter.

As of October 21, a search on < zines tea location:barnard genre:zines > retrieves 66 results.

There are titles like Snail Tea, Pink Tea, Mysterious Tea Party : An Enchanting Garden-variety Love Story, and Time for a Tea-briefing. No. 1. Top subject headings are

Teenage girls

Mothers
Perimenopause
Punk culture
Tea

It's unclear if any of the zines are about spilling, rather than drinking the tea.

In addition to zines, the result set includes the Keight Bergmann Zinester Ephemera Collections, 1998-2002. Keight, the author of Pink Tea, donated the tea set she used to serve the Boston zine girls at the turn of the 21st century.
