This week we added zines about the pandemic driving people to kombucha, dolphin drawing, staying inside, consuming a lot of media, attempting to care for themselves, and embracing it as a boon for neurodiverse introverts, as well as a screed by an Irish lesbian affirming her sexuality, which apparently you have to do in Ireland.
This week we added zines about how introverts would design the working world (our moment has arrived!), grim reaper problems, wearing a face mask with glasses, Starbucks worker pandemic life, essential worker life, thirsty queer sailors from the USNS Comfort, pandemic librarianing in Australia, and isolation...with a partner.

This week we added zines about going to school from going to school from twelve hours in the future, T-shirts worn during quarantine, Asian American coronavirus experiences, London street scenes, what the coronavirus is and how to deal with it (in English and español), a vision of the future if we minimize global warming, zines purchased during the pandemic, the passing of a beloved cat during the early days of social distancing, and body image during the crisis: don't diet!
We've added ten new pandemic zines this week. They're about making the best of things, Zooming art school, how life is different under quarantine, how ventilators work, isolated living, what skateboarders in the UK are doing to occupy their time, weekly news rundowns, meditating while Black, and what service workers in PDX are up to while they're unemployed.
This week added ten more COVID-19 zines to our collection. They are about the politics of face masks in Hong Kong, how quarantine looks to a cat (stop touching my touch beans!), home office problems, parents observing social distance, parenting a kindergartner while quarantined, growing seeds, what's good and bad about social distancing, neighborhood mutual aid (auf Deutsch), and rural life for a working class Columbia alum, plus boredom tweets collaged over a SimCity background by an artist from Istanbul.

We're adding zines to our COVID-19 collection about the greater implications of festivals like Coachella being canceled, quarantine life, fantasizing about life after quarantine, the massive scope of the coronavirus, how to upcycle food waste, annoying neighbors, giving up shaving body hair because of social isolation, a small moment of connection with a stranger, and despite being in a privileged position, being overwhelmed with feelings.
We added zines about quarantine rituals, the view from the kitchen window, missing and not missing the outside world, boredom, and mindfulness practices.
We added COVID-19 zines about staying home, anxiety shopping, shopping anxiety, political rage, sharing snack bounty, food fantasies, boredom, Easter memories, and how childhood poverty and trauma affect a person in time of crisis.
The Barnard Zine Librarian is Zooming into three Brooklyn Emerging Leaders Academy (BELA) ethnic studies classes taught by Sara Yukimoto-Saltman to kick off their unit on zines.
We're adding zines about anti-Asian racism and the model minority myth, parenting kids and being away from your aging parents during quarantine, social closeness, missing people and things while maxing out on mass media, missing one's bagelry, taking responsibility for complicity, migrant farmworkers' conditions during the coronavirus, a mother's sexy self, and having hope for the future.
This time we added zines about Barnard Bartending (RIP), witchery, failure, microaggressions, midlife crises, a breakup, eating disorders and addiction, things that make you happen, and vegan eating and Xicanx identities.

This week we add zines about urban gardening, putting food on a tray for an isolating family member, COVID-19 coping strategies, feeling the crushing weight of the world, US healthcare challenges, making a Passover Seder for one, longing for love while isolated, moving during quarantine, facial expressions hidden by masks, anger at the state of US politics and ICE activities, and evolving isolation thoughts, along with a collective zine by roommates detailing their life under quarantine, including riding the subway and food insecurity.
We're adding zines to our library about Millennial lyfe, sober bicycle touring, Unitarianism, queer/trans bible study, quarantine activities, acupuncture practice and Orientalism, missing college during quarantine, being an academic librarian as the shut down began, and moving from Indiana to Arizona, along with poems by a trans man imagining boyhood.
This time we added zines about COVID19 care among Asian American feminists, wearing masks in Hong Kong and the US, COVID19 self-care practices among yoga practitioners, what is in anthropomorphic paintings from the US National Gallery of Art's hearts, gardening with youth at Rikers, mushrooms, and the database Sci-Hub.
This week we added zines about mask making, social distance, handling the pandemic badly, anti-Asian racism, tarot in times of trauma, a Soviet engineer, the quest for perfect skin, and targeted ads on Facebook.
