The weather has been a bit cold lately, but Spring is on its way! I was inspired by the Papercut Zine Library's post on gardening zines and decided to share a few zines for the nice weather ahead!

Support the Denver Zine Library!

They are doing a one month fundraiser and would love your help caring and sharing for zines. The money will be used for workshops, exciting events, and supplies for a whole year! Donate here and keep an eye out for videos from around the country where people tell their stories about why they love the Denver Zine Library.

We celebrated the first ever International Zine Library Day, celebrated at Barnard with much gusto and by making a bunch of zines over a 6-hour period. And now, three weeks later, they're all cataloged.

The Olneyville Library in Providence, Rhode Island, is trying to expand its local comics/art books/zine collection, so that the public can have access to these rare local gems.

We have tweaked our collection development policy for the second time since the zine collection was established in 2003.

Zine Apothecary, a new circulation distro in Minneapolis, needs donations for themselves and their sister project The Fly Away Zine Mobile.

There's a zine fest happening June 16th - September 13 at the Miami Dade Public Library and the opening from 7:00-8:30 on June 16th is promising special performances, a 14-foot inflatable moon, and lots and lots of zines!
