For the Girls, I'd Grow Roses Without Thorns by Kate, 1990s?
I regret laughing at that girl because she didn't live up to my standards.
She was having a pretty good time until they began playing Offspring. That's where she draws the line.
I've been on Facebook since 2007 and I've deleted my account three times.

Riot Grrrl NYC Convention, edited by Lisa K., 1996
It is true that New Yorkers are awfully obsessed with seeming like nothing fazes them and that we miss a lot of opportunities for joy because we think it's not cool to act interested in anything.
On riot grrrl "warning: this piece is very harsh b/c i wrote it while i was feeling very angry about a lot of things)":
this is supposed to be a place where people can say what they want and not get yelled at for not being _____ enough but i keep seeing people (including myself) getting dissed on for not being revolutionary enough or not being feminist enough and this is supposed to be my place to be able to express everything that i am feeling but i can't fucking do that anymore and that is why i have been so bad about writing because the whole scene has been making me feel so bad.

Teenage Whoremoans #4 (two different #4s) by Melanie, 1996 & 1997
Dear Roget's Thesaurus,
Recently I was looking through your thesaurus and I came across the word male. Some of the synonyms included were human beings and human race. ... I then go to look at the word female. I am at a loss for words, I don't see the words human beings or human race listed here for synonyms to female. Were we (femaled) exempted from the human race, and I was not made aware of it?!
