The Chattanooga Public Library and UTC’s Society of Ink and Paper will host the second annual Chattanooga Zine Fest, a festival of independently produced books and magazines, on May 16 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on the 4th Floor of the Library’s downtown branch. The event is free and open to the public.
Chattanooga Zine Fest 2015 will feature some of the area’s best local and regional zine makers; guided and self-directed zine-making activities; zine readings, trading and selling, as well as several demos in the maker space designed for zine makers and self publishers.
In conjunction with Chattanooga ZineFest 2015, The Open Press, a Chattanooga-based letterpress, printmaking and books arts cooperative, will present Renaissance, a book arts exhibit featuring a juried collection of handmade books from artists in Asheville and Chattanooga. The books will be on view through June.
