I remember from elementary school that June 14th is Flag Day, hence the title of this post.

The Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture, part of the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Duke University, announces the availability of Mary Lily Research Grants for research travel to their collections.

The Olneyville Library in Providence, Rhode Island, is trying to expand its local comics/art books/zine collection, so that the public can have access to these rare local gems.

Zine Apothecary, a new circulation distro in Minneapolis, needs donations for themselves and their sister project The Fly Away Zine Mobile.

Moira Clunie has generously improved our collection with new-to-us zines from New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.


I have finished cataloging the backlog of all zines purchased for or donated to the Barnard Library Zine Collection from the time we began collecting zines in 2003 (or 2004?) through when I stopped opening new donation packages late last summer!
